The tatting pattern is accompanied with step by step instructions with photographs as well as the pattern in diagram and written form.

The joining of the three chains can be tricky but I have included extensive instructions and diagrams to explain the proceedure.

Skills needed
• Rings and chains
• Adding beads threaded onto the shuttle and with picots (explained in pattern)
• Split rings (explained in the pattern)
• Josephine knot chains.

Materials required
• Mercerised cotton 20 or equivilent.
• 2 to 4 tatting shuttles (to avoid having to unwind and rewind shuttles)
• Crochet hook 0.50
• 150 x 2mm (approximately) glass beads
• 1 x drop bead
• Pinning board (Cork, polytyrene or cardboard will do).
• Needle to sew in ends.
